Design and development mechanical system layouts and/or powerplant installations
System Safety Assessments and Failure Hazard Analyses
Development of certification programs and strategies in cooperation with the corresponding authority specialists
Independent Checking of the required certification documentation ( compliance demonstration, compliance summaries)
Interfacing with other disciplines as Structures, Electrics/Avionics and Flight Test
Interfacing with subcontractors and witnessing of tests
Selection and interfacing with subcontractors
Negotiation with the competent certification authorities
University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Aeronautics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or similar
Minimum 3-years of experience in CS-23 Certification Projects
Sound knowledge of Part 21, CS-23 and the applicable advisory material, such as DO-160, AC 20-17…
Sound knowledge in aircraft mechanical systems as hydraulics, fuel system, powerplant installation, oxygen system, ECS, ejection seat installation etc.
Good language skills, English and German
Professional skills in composition and administration of documents using standard office applications
Pilot license is an asset
We offer a market-standard salary based on your professional and personal suitability. The legal minimum salary for this position according to the Austrian collective agreement is 41.542,- EUR gross/year (Bachelor level). We provide overpayment of this base salary.
